Customer Service and Logistics/Warehouse/Stock Control Supervisor
My client, an international trading company has an exciting and challenging vacancy for a customer service and logistics professional who is ready to take on the next level of their career by taking on problem solving and some supervisory duties in the offices of their warehouse. The successful candidate will have already gained a thorough comprehension of the documentation of international trade will be confident in dealing with warehouse and production issues but also have a strong understanding of the high levels of customer service required of major clients and will have the confidence to address challenging situations and lead others through these.
Essential requirements:
• Working knowledge of import/.export documentation. I.e. Bills of Lading, Incoterms.
• Ready to take on the challenge of basic leadership and supervision
• Able to look beyond procedure in order to solve problems and improve client experience
• Excellent English skills both spoken and written
• Experience of international trading either in customer service, logistics, shipping or sales administration
• Numerate and computer literate
• Energy and stamina
• Proven commitment to providing excellent customer service
• Confidence in one’s own ability to make strategic choices and ensure effective expedition of the supply chain process
