A fast-paced and dynamic trading house located in Central London requires a confident and competent sales administration/support professional with energy and enthusiasm to provide administrative support to the extraordinarily busy sales team. The ideal candidate will be looking to build their career in physical commodities sales support and although extensive experience is not necessarily essential, an understanding of physical commodities trading environment would be a distinct advantage.
Duties to include, but not be limited to:
• Daily sales support and sales administration for the trading team and sales directors
• Significant contracts administration for all purchase and sales deals
• Collection and payment of shipping invoices, including documentation preparation
• Forecasting of future requirements and liaison with the sales and buying teams
• Co-ordination with supply chain and shipping/logistics teams on delivery times, schedules and management of delays and problems encountered
The ideal applicant will have 5+ years of complex sales administration in a very busy and demanding environment where time management and taking responsibility for problems encountered are the key to success.
The ability to deal with often conflicting deadlines and ever-changing requirements in a phenomenally busy office are essential but will provide the successful applicant with a great career challenge with significant future opportunities.
