The company focuses on the mobile app industry, delivering services from User Acquisition and App Store Optimization through to User Lifecycle Messaging. Each of these services has been crafted by industry-leading experts in an analytically-driven manner to increase & optimize one or more of the following core app metrics – acquisition volume & quality, user retention, engagement & monetization.


The Role

In this role, you will report to the company founding director, although you will have to work collaboratively with the managers of the two other teams (UA & CRM)

You will be expected to manage the day-to-day operation of the ASO team, including personal development, training and ensuring timely delivery of exceptional work to clients

In addition to team management you will need to perform a degree of account management & delivery with select, strategic clients, and help lead by example with these to set an example with your team

As the manager of the ASO team, you will be trained on company techniques and frameworks, and be expected to stay abreast of the latest developments in ASO & mobile marketing, as well as ensuring this knowledge is disseminated to clients

Typical ASO engagements will require the ASO team to constantly analyse client’s data (ranging from keyword performance to downloads per territory and user LTV), and identification of avenues for growth

As the team is grounded in data analysis, you’ll have to have a strong background in analytics & delivering actionable insight to clients in order to support the team

You will commonly be expected to involve yourself in formal monthly & quarterly client/account updates, supporting the ASO Consultants using your expertise in client presentation delivery

You will be expected to review presentation content, to ensure it is concise, consistent and summarises the ROI delivered by the engagement, as well as support and nurture more junior Consultants in the team to refine their presentation skills

The clients of the ASO team cover a range of different sectors from Publishing, Travel, Wagering and Social Networking through to Food Delivery

Ideal candidate


4+ years’ management experience in the marketing space where you will have been managing teams responsible for either user acquisition, app marketing, CRM / messaging, data analytics, or App Store Optimization services

Deep technical experience is a plus, but it’s definitely not a prerequisite

You will be expected to inspire and motivate a rapidly expanding team (currently 4 heads) within an equally fast-paced environment!

Finally, as most of what they do is based on data - you absolutely have to have an analytical mind, and experience using data analytics and visualization solutions like Tableau
