Benefit
A Japanese organisation in central London is looking to recruit a Business Promoter/Administrator who can support Japanese companies’ export activities and British companies’ import activities. Business level of Japanese skills is required.


TYPE: Temporary

Contract period: Nov 2019 – Mar 2020 (there is good chance for extension)

WORKING HOURS: 9:30-17:30 from Monday to Friday

SALARY: £12.53 in the first 12 weeks and from week 13, the rate increases to £13.28 per hour including holiday pay, depending on experience

LOCATION: central London

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Export promotion (Trade)
-Collecting and providing information and giving consultations to UK & Japanese companies and individuals regarding the export of Japanese products to the UK via Email, telephone and face-to-face conversation
-Creating internal documents with regard to import / sales regulations and systems in the UK
-Various administrative tasks and assistance as necessary to carry out export promotion-related business

General Affairs
-Allocating enquiries (mail, phone, visit) from inside and outside the office and passing to an appropriate department in the office or appropriate person
-Office maintenance and communicating with internal and external parties.
-In the event of relocating the office, supporting the necessary tasks for smooth relocation, such as collecting information and coordinating with internal and external parties.
-Reception duties, sorting letters

IDEAL CANDIDATE:
-Excellent written and communication skills
-Business level of fluency in both English and Japanese
-IT skills including proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
-Ability to manage shifting priorities within timeframes
