TYPE: Permanent, part-time
WORKING HOURS: 9:00-15:00 from Monday to Friday (30 hours per week)
LOCATION: Swindon, UK
SALARY: around £18k depending on experience
ACCOUNTS ADMINISTRATOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Matching purchase orders and delivery notes to purchase invoices and inputting on database before sending for authorisation
• Collating paperwork for sales invoices from all relevant sites, departments and individuals
• Raising all sales invoices to completion and issuing to customers
• Dealing with Swindon’s credit control, chasing debts and ensuring all customers’ accounts are settled within our terms
• Liaising closely with accounts payable to ensure payments are made swiftly and without delay
• Conducting data entry for the transport department to create weekly and monthly invoices, liaising with said department to ensure all costs are correct
• Working with other departments in order to agree customer’s additional charges for sales invoicing
• Using Microsoft Excel to create end of month reports for the business
• Conducting a wide variety of clerical duties, including filing, photocopying, bookkeeping and archiving
• Managing and controlling the company’s stationary inventory, raising purchase orders when required
• Ensuring all office furniture, supplies and equipment are of the most competitive price and quality
OTHER ACTIVITIES
• Ensuring that all information of a confidential nature is protected and not divulged to third parties
• Ensuring the office is kept safe and secure at all times
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
• A full UK driving license will be required
• Some knowledge and experience in accounting
• PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Business level of English
