An international leader in the area of Auto-ID IoT and Data Management Systems is looking for a suitable candidate to fill the key position of Senior Sales Executive DACH Region based in Düsseldorf. Your role will be to acquire new clients (both Partners and end customers) for their Hardware Products as well their Software Solution Business, and to formulate and implement a sales strategy for the DACH Region. Native or fluent German and strong English skills will be required.

Salary: €60k – €80k per year
Location: Dusseldorf, Germany. A lot of travel will be required.

Responsibilities:

• Acquire new clients (both Partners and end customers) for the Hardware Products as well our Software Solution Business
• Maintain and Develop relationships with existing clients
• Formulate and implement a sales strategy for the DACH Region
• Explain the product and services, negotiate prices and deliveries with new and existing clients
• Attend trade shows in order to cultivate relationships with existing and meet new clients
• Regularly analyze your achievements against your targets
• Communicate with all relevant departments within the company in order to meet client demands
• Spend a considerable amount of time travelling (the remainder will be spent working at the Düsseldorf office)

Ideal Candidate:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT-engineering or Business field. A dual degree is ideal.
• 10 years of work experience in Sales, ideally B2B in the area of Auto-ID hardware and software solutions applications or related areas.
• Contacts to clients in industry and retail sector would be advantageous.
• Experience in the creation of sales structures in cooperation with partners and system integrators.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially EXCEL and other quantitative Software solutions.
• Native German speaker or equivalent. Strong command of English.
• Strong analytical skills, as well as strong communication and presentation skills.
• This position requires drive, passion, an open personality, intercultural competence, readiness for change and the ability to work both independently and as a member of team.
