A well-established Japanese automotive-parts manufacturer in Germany is currently looking to recruit a Key Account Manager for their Düsseldorf office. Previous experience within the Automotive industry is required, along with strong negotiation and sales skills and a driving license.
Fluency in written and spoken English and German is necessary for this role, and an understanding of Japanese culture and some Japanese skill would be advantageous.
TYPE: Permanent, full-time (Flexy working hours)
SALARY: up to €60,000 to €75,000 depending on experience. A company car can be provided.
LOCATION: Düsseldorf, Germany

• Europe-wide key account management of existing customers
• Calculation, negotiation and tracking of offers
• Budget planning and preparation of forecasts
• Observation of markets and market competitors
• Project management
• Accompaniment of the release process of the components
• Support in complaint handling
• Ensuring urgent and on-time deliveries for important components

• A technical college or university degree with a focus on business administration or mechanical engineering
• Sound experience in sales in the area of technical/explanatory articles in the automotive industry
• Previous experience in the automotive industry
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Strong communication skills, the ability to work in a team and a structured way of working
• Experience in working with international employers
• Strong negotiation and closing skills
• Driving license class B
