An international payment solution provider is looking for a manager in their payment department in Paris, France
The role will suit someone with a background in the EU payment industry – ideally within a payment card provider
The Role
• Take a lead in negotiations and build good relationships with existing partners and new partners.
• Identify and develop relationship with potential partners and initiate discussions on transaction processing business opportunities.
• Take care of the system setup and initial technical explanation for the partners in liaison with stakeholders
• Identify impacts on the processing activities by any new services or products introduced
• Ensure and monitor that the processing activities meet the legal requirements and regulations and manage audits
• Review the regulatory requirements regularly and reflect relevant update onto the
processing operations
• Ensure the transactional activities are completed to the highest standards
• Liaise with the accounting department to settle relevant fees including processing fees, infrastructure fees and market contribution fees and ensure the partners settle the payment in due time
• Prepare and manage the budget and business plan on the processing activities and get an approval from the board members
• Create progress reports and business reports as requested
• Managing the template form of the Transaction Routing Agreement
• Review and update the Requirements of Transaction Routing on a regular basis
• Participate in the selection, development, motivation and retention of the processing
• Build and keep good relationships with stakeholders internally and externally
• Travel as required to perform business activities
• Perform other ad-hoc related tasks as assigned by management and to meet business needs
• Comply with internal policies and procedures

The Ideal Candidate
• Business level proficiency in French and English (spoken and written) is required
• Proficient in Microsoft office package
• Experience in the European Payments Industry
• Experience and understanding of payment processing systems
• Skills to build and maintain strong relationships with clients
• Strong leadership skills and result-driven mind
• Problem-solving and analytical skills and good sense of data interpretation
• Presentation and communication skills
• Time management skills
• Attitude to learn and drive business growth and personal growth

• Experience in Financial Services technology required, Payment Card Industry
is desirable
• At least 2 years’ people management experience
