You will be in charge of 1st / 2nd line support for multiple Japanese business customers.
Native-level German or Japanese language skills as well as business level English will be required for this role.

WORKING HOURS: 9:00-17:30 from Monday to Friday
SALARY: Up to €50K depending on experience

LOCATION: Dusseldorf office (Work from home, few days a week available)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
•1st / 2nd line support for multiple Japanese business customers
•Typical customer size: 1-100 users
•Includes regular onsite helpdesk and user support at a customer in Dusseldorf
(2 days a week, every 2nd week – assignment might change any time)
•Administration and maintenance of several customer’s IT environments incl. endpoint, network and servers (in a team)
•Regular system checks and maintenance work (onsite and remote)
•Setup and delivery of new devices (PCs, servers, mobile devices, network and security devices, etc.)
•Typical tasks include user support, PC roll-outs, data migrations and systems integrations
•Creating and updating documentation
•Working with a ticket system
•Registering warranties and manufacturer support services
•Liaising with manufacturers and other third parties
•Maintaining good customer relations
•Various administrative activities
•Participate in projects
•Support our sales team with selecting products based on customer requirements
KNOWLEDGE/FUNCTIONAL/TECHNICAL SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Essential:
•Excellent technical skills (especially Windows endpoints/servers in business environment but preferably also network technologies)
•Proven work experience of at least 5 years as an IT support/helpdesk engineer or systems administrator
•Keen to work in a Japanese company and with an international team
•Service provider mindset
•Highly reliable and well organized
•Excellent time management skills
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•Flexible regarding new tasks
•Native-level German or some Japanese language skills
•Business-level English language skills
Desirable:
•Prior work experience at an IT service provider is highly preferred
