A Japanese Financial company in Central London seeks a Japanese-speaking Marketing Manager to take a hands-on approach in day-to-day marketing operations and team management, and to support sales efforts by the BD team in London.

Core duties
• Supporting the Business Development team to raise AUM globally by reviewing and
preparing high quality marketing materials and distributing them efficiently
• Taking a hands-on approach to daily operational duties and database management
• Identifying marketing events that help to promote its investment strategies, leading to sales opportunities
• Completing RFP/DDQs and client questionnaires in co-ordination with colleagues in
London and Tokyo
• Reviewing and preparing marketing materials to a high standard
• Overseeing the distribution of factsheets and other marketing materials
• Completing RFP/DDQs in a timely manner to meet deadlines
• Effective use of the database and CRM software
• Website management, digital marketing implementation and management
• Events/conference/seminar arrangement
• Information gathering of the industry/competitors
• Liaising with other global teams, the service providers, other marketers, and media and financial publications

Ideal candidate
Essential requirements include:
• Prior marketing or finance-related experiences (preferably in asset management)
• Prior experience in managing staff and working as part of a team
• Degree qualified (finance background preferred)
• Good understanding of Operations including website and CRM software
• Good command of business English
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Performance and risk management knowledge

Desired requirements include:
• Good command of business Japanese as a language skill
• Good understanding and relevant experience in IT (marketing related)
• IMC or similar
