IT Support Engineer

A Japanese IT company is currently looking to recruit an IT Support Engineer in
Amsterdam. This role will be responsible for providing via telephone, email, online tickets and in-person, quality engineering services for on-site / remote day-to-day support work, as well as system integration work in collaboration with the colleagues and/or 3rd party engineers.
The role will include IT support work such as ticket logging, technical support of desktops, laptops, servers, network, other associated devices, and acting upon monitoring system alerts. The role will support from small clients to large multi-branch clients.

LOCATION: Amsterdam (client site & remote)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide 1st and 2nd technical support for the clients both onsite and offsite
- Provide accurate and timely diagnosis and rectification of system faults and work proactively to ensure prompt resolution of support cases and the highest possible levels of customer satisfaction
- Provide system integration, office relocation services for the clients and the internal system;
provide systems installation and configuration; provide system migration and removal
- Provide project management for small system integration and office relocation projects, and
ensure that the project deliverables are delivered on time, within budget and with required
level of quality
- Cooperate with our partners and provide excellent customer services

IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- More than 3 years of technical support experience in IT infrastructure industry
- Administration experience with Windows services: AD, GPO, Printer, Shared folders
- Able to demonstrate understanding of good operating system knowledge: Windows 10, iOS, Android
- Able to demonstrate understanding of basic knowledge of networking (LAN, WAN or Wi-Fi)
- Ability to demonstrate basic knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022
- Excellent English speaking and writing skill
