Japanese speaking Digital Product Manager

A legendary gaming company based in Windsor is currently looking for an experienced Digital Product Manager to join their trading card department.
This role will manage all aspects of the digital game portfolio for their trading card game.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the marketing landscape for launching and supporting a spectrum of digital (mobile and live games) and physical games on consoles (PlayStation, Xbox, Steam). The Product Manager should be metric-driven, pro-active, innovative, and a self-starter. This is a fast-paced work environment, candidates need to be driven and have great time management skills.

Main Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive of trading card digital game knowledge, including, but not limited to target market identification and analysis, category and competitive analysis,
- Be the primary point-of-contact for internal teams to provide support for digital titles and obtain necessary approvals for all activities to ensure compliance with licensors, first-parties, etc.
- Collaborate with Division team members located in Windsor to implement social media campaigns, influencer marketing, offline Organised Play initiatives and events on digital games
- Co-ordinate with the European branch teams on market-specific activities, liaising between them and the Promotions team in Japan for feedback and approval
- Work closely with United States team to create and implement cross-promotional campaigns
- Manage creatives and product copy by working closely with in-house creative teams, development teams and external business partners
- Create presentation materials as needed for sales meetings, trade shows, and consumer events
- Manage the daily execution of product promotions, ensuring campaigns and materials are created on schedule and within budget
- Report to Japan campaign and creative performances of activities such as campaign performance, PR/Event execution, and creative performance

Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 4-5 years of experience in marketing digital games, including mobile, live, and console games, and/or digital entertainment industries
- Basic understanding of digital marketing tools, such as Adjust, and techniques using SNS
- Experience with placing both online and offline advertising
- Must be a self-starter, with the ability to work with limited supervision
- Personal initiative and sound business judgment required to identify, evaluate, and respond to job needs
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, to write product copy. Must be comfortable speaking to all levels of management
- Professional, with exceptional interpersonal skills
- Must be detail-oriented and demonstrate ability to multi-task in a high-stress environment
- Proven ability to work with various personality types and work styles in a multicultural environment
- Deep understanding of digital marketing KPIs
- Experience marketing licensed products advantageous
- Strong knowledge of the games industry, including digital card games advantageous
- Japanese language ability (speaking/reading/writing) advantageous
- Passion for the trading card games
- Creative writing skills advantageous
