A well-known Japanese transport company based in West London seeks a Sales Manager.
You will be responsible for sales management, developing and managing team members for the UK and EU region, the market focus forwarding, logistics and e-commerce.
This role involves frequent travel to EU countries
TYPE: Permanent, full-time
WORKING HOURS: 9:00-17:30, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week
SALARY: negotiable, depending on experience
LOCATION: West London

・Manage assigned accounts within the UK and Europe
・New business development within the UK and Europe
・Weekly/Monthly sales forecasting and reporting
・Manage special project developments
・Evaluate market trends and gather competitive information
・Secure new business
・Achieve the HQ’s revenue and profitability quotas
・Management of team members
・Training sales associates

・Solid experience in sales or business development in the logistics industry
・Previous experience in sales planning
・Excellent negotiation skills (Managing profitability)
・Advanced level for MS Excel and Power Point, with excellent presentation skills
・Business level of English language in both writing and speaking
・Able to consistently exceed quota and key performance metrics
・Experience in working within an international team
・Able to travel abroad on business trips
・Able to drive
・Understanding of Japanese culture is advantageous
