A Japanese manufacturer specialised in construction machine equipment is currently recruiting a Business Development representative to expand and develop their UK market.

This role will entail business trips to the UK, mainly to Wales, South East and South West England, and independently directing the sales/marketing activities in the UK and European region under the direction of the Manager.

The ideal candidate should have high communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, preferably in the manufacturing or leasing sectors, and be able to go on business trips abroad when necessary.

TYPE: Full-time, permanent (6months contract to start with)
SALARY: Negotiable, DOE
START: As soon as possible
LOCATION: The Netherlands
RESPONSIBILITIES:
・Developing new distributors
・Visiting new and existing clients and maintaining good relationships
・Identifying potential distributors/clients
・Promoting and offering the product and product packages to clients
・Developing marketing strategies
・Communicating with staff in other European countries
・Attending training when required

IDEAL CANDIDATE:
・Hold a Driving licence
・Experience within construction or leasing industry would be highly advantageous
・Business Development, Sales, or Account management experience is necessary
・Knowledge and experience of essential UK networks would be advantageous
・Strong ability to present the strengths/capabilities of the business
・Negotiation and influencing skills
・Excellent written and communication skills
・Business level fluency in English is required
・Understanding or interest in Japanese culture would be great
