A major-corporate bank in Dusseldorf is currently looking for a Japanese-speaking Head of Customer Relations (Credit & Customer relations team: CCR team)
As a Department Head, you will successfully lead and organize the Business Front Team (Customer Relations), motivate staff members, adhere to their procedures and contribute to the development of the bank in collaboration with other departments. The CCR team is a front office team which is in direct contact with the customers. It is responsible for our Japanese (& Asian) Customer Business.
Business level of English & Japanese will be required for this role. Some understanding of German will be advantageous.
(CCR = Business Front Team) : BFT is responsible for customer service activities, which means collaborating and communicating with customers, account officers and back offices to execute transactions

TYPE: Permanent, full-time
WORKING HOURS: 9:00-17:15 from Monday to Friday
SALARY: up to €99K depending on experience, plus good benefits
START: January/February 2022

• Manage, control, and educate members of the team
• Manage and control the operation of the Credit & Customer Relations Department
• Coordinate with other departments to accomplish their strategic objectives
• Coordinate with other entities and offices to accomplish their strategic objectives
• Assist and advise Management in making decisions and to execute such decisions
• Implementation of HO or Management’s instructions
• Other matters that may be requested by Management from time to time

• Knowledge and Experiences for Commercial Banking, such as deposit, loan, forex and remittance, the operational side of which is mainly required to fulfill the team’s assignment
• Minimum Bachelor or equivalent level of qualification
• Language skills: English (Fluent) and Japanese (Business). German is preferable, but not required
• Working experience in banking business
• Basic Knowledge for Commercial Banking, Corporate Financing, Remittance and Accounting
• Good understanding of necessary procedure and rules
• Good interpersonal skills
