A Japanese logistics company is looking to appoint an engaged and delivery-focused Customs Broker for Airfreight at their Amsterdam office. They offer their customers worldwide intermodal transport solutions utilizing air, ocean, and ground transport. You will work in a dynamic and international environment. You do not need to speak any Japanese at this firm but understanding of Japanese culture and some Japanese skill will be advantageous.

TYPE: Permanent, full-time
WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday
SALARY: €2600 - €3400 per month depending on experience
START: ASAP
LOCATION: Amsterdam, The Netherlands

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Coordinate daily customs clearances for an interesting and unique customer portfolio
• Customs clearance of Import airfreight shipments
• Schedule air freight import shipments as per customers’ requirements
• Maintain excellent service to the customers
• Creating T-1 documents
• Close contact with airlines and other subcontractors

IDEAL CANDIDATE:
• Has a background in the airfreight industry
• Has completed a Licensed Customs Broker course
• Speaks business English
• Is accurate and enthusiastic
• Is available full time
•Ability speak Dutch is advantageous
