Core Duties
• Help develop an IoT and Mobile ecosystem
• Collaborate with other professionals to design solutions
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and clients to understand business needs
• Review the proposal of vendors and suppliers to ensure that quality inputs are delivered at appropriate cost
• Identify and mitigate existing business risk or risks associated with solution architecture.
• Render consulting and technical support services on project implementation to the sales team
• Keep accurate record of materials used, expected deliverables, and milestones achieved
• Monitor the activities of external programmers or developers on IT solution projects
• Provide architectural guidance to co-ordinate design efforts across the company, customers and suppliers
• Ensure successful handover of all new solutions to operations ensuring service readiness
• Ensure compliance to solution architectural design in the implementation of projects
The Ideal Candidate
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally on a frequent basis.
• Bachelor's degree in Electronic Communications, Systems Engineering or similar.
• Significant, proven experience in developing IoT and Mobile solutions, including software design, and IT platform implementation in a highly technical and analytical role
• Excellent knowledge of application architecture, database architecture, networking, working with customers to implement large-scale solutions
• Solid experience with IoT, Cloud and Mobile technologies and communications protocols, SIM technologies, and e2e IoT Security and IoT devices
• Experience leading or developing high quality, enterprise scale software products using a structured system development life cycle
• Sound knowledge of programming applications backed by cloud services
