A highly successful international commodity trading house seek a highly talented HR generalist for the HR Executive role. Responsible for providing a professional and comprehensive human resources service to the company’s Pan-European operations you will be a key figure within the Human Resources department
The Role

• Full generalist remit to support the work within the Department;
• Guidance on human resources policies and procedures;
• Provide employment law advice and guidance as and when required;
• Work with other HR team members on reviewing employee manuals, policies and procedures in accordance with local employment laws;
• Conduct and assist with employee relation matters e.g. grievances, disciplinaries, capability processes, PIPs and exit interviews;
• Provide administrative support across the HR Department as and when required;
• Support management in the approval process for various rules and other applications;

Generalist Tasks:
• Provide cover and support across the HR Department on generalist tasks, including but not limited to providing recruitment, learning and development, performance, international assignments, projects, HRIS and administration support.

Employee Relations and Employment Law
• Provide employee relations/employment law advice as and when required.
• Provide guidance and advice on employee relation issues including leading and assisting in grievances, disciplinaries, capability processes, PIPs and exit interviews. Preparing agendas, letters, minutes, meeting notes etc.
• Assist with ensuring that employee manuals are up-to-date to reflect relevant legislation.
• Assist with ensuring contracts of employment templates are up-to-date and reflect any relevant legislation changes.

Policies, procedures, rules
• Provide support and advice to employees across the network of the company on human resources policies and procedures.
• Assist with administering various HR Rule processes from start to finish to ensure compliance
The Ideal Candidate
• Advantageous to hold either part or full CIPD qualification or willing to work towards to support development;
• Confidence to present /speak in front of others and be able to challenge and put forward ideas;
• Good knowledge of Word and Excel;
• Must be able to travel and at short notice
• Knowledge and experience of working in a generalist HR role and have knowledge and understanding of UK employment law and best practice;
• Advantageous to have experience within a multicultural, multi-country business environment;
• Experience in using SAP SuccessFactors Learning Management System preferred;
