The Company

A highly successful technology start-up company is looking for a Senior Sales Development Representative to join their growing sales team in the UK. This role would suit someone with previous Enterprise Cloud or IoT related B2B SaaS sales experience within tech start-ups.
As a Senior Sales Development Representative you will act as the liaison between the Marketing and Sales teams. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers.
The Role

• Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
• Coordinate outbound campaigns and sales effort with team members and other departments
• Analyse the territory/market’s potential, track sales, and status reports
• Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
• Present, promote, and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
• Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
• Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within the schedule
• Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
• Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
• Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
The Ideal Candidate
• Excellent experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas. You will Able to cultivate instant rapport with prospects. Ultimately, you will boost sales and contribute to our long-term business growth
• Proven 5+ years work experience as a SaaS B2B or Hardware Sales Development Representative including a proven track record of successful outbound campaigns
• Expert in designing and implementing outbound B2B campaigns with over 10,000 contacts
• Strong video conference presence and experience engaging in dozens of meetings per day
• Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
• Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales
• Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills
• Familiarity with CRM practices along with the ability to build productive business professional relationships
• Experience working with or similar CRM
• Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
• Passionate about technology
• Experience working in IoT ecosystem
• Previous experience working in a startup
