A Japanese manufacturer which is considered one of the first "cyborg type" robots in the world is recruiting a Business Development Associate.
The company engages in the entire process from research, development and social implementation of technology, and you will be responsible for developing new business in Germany. This role would suit someone who has extensive knowhow in marketing and sales of high-tech industrial goods, preferably medical devices.
TYPE: Permanent, full-time 
WORKING HOURS: Flexible working time, 40 hours a week
SALARY: up to 50k, depending on experience
LOCATION: Germany (full-remote)

• Develop new business in Germany, through actively identifying prospective businesses and understanding their business model and needs for specific monetization services
• Develop working relationships that turn into revenue, both for the client and the company
• Actively and successfully managing the sales process: from lead generation to signing agreements, negotiations, closing deals and assisting the account management team
• Present the company to potential clients through direct communication, face-to-face meetings, networking events, calling and emails
• Representing the company at industry events and tradeshows with the intention of gaining new business leads and contacts
• Create and be accountable for all client proposals, contracts and any further documentation with the assistance of Business Development Manager
• Keeping updated on market trends and issues affecting the robotics and medical exoskeleton industry as well as collecting competitor intelligence
• Partake in ad-hoc marketing activities in order to increase the company's visibility in current and expanding markets
• Take initiative and strive to make a noticeable contribution to the company

• Hands-on and passionate with excellent entrepreneurial skills
• Dedicated and convincing, have natural leadership skills with keen perception.
• Communicate tailored to the specific needs of different external and internal stakeholders
• See the big picture and are motivated to contribute to the overall success of the company
• Willing to travel

• 1–3 years sales and marketing experience, not must but better in the medical or robotics industry.
• Extensive knowhow in marketing and sales of high-tech industrial goods, preferably medical devices.
• Outstanding communication, influencing negotiation and presentation skills
• Fluency in English language (spoken and written)
• Not must but better for having an existing network in Europe for gait-or motion analysis community.
