You will be responsible for translating English to Japanese information on the macroeconomic situation in the Eurozone and the UK, as well as reports written by Credit Analysts on ESG topics. Translators with experience within the financial sector are encouraged to apply, however those with experience outside the financial sector will also be considered.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
• Translate macroeconomic reports in the Eurozone and the UK, as well as reports written by Credit Analysts on ESG topics (ENG to JPN)
• Translate internal reports, presentation documents etc.
In the absence of the department head, oversee macroeconomic translation in London and EU
• Receive overseas teamwork orders from Tokyo
• Identify and prioritize further emerging work throughout London business hours
• Allocate work to London and New York in-house colleagues, aiding with work completion as needed
• Generate orders for outsource work
• Support DTP team with report registration
• Translation of reports and slide materials for Internal usage
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
• Native-level proficiency in English or Japanese, with professional-level proficiency in the other
• Knowledge of macroeconomics is strongly preferred
• Word, PowerPoint, and Excel proficiency
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Relevant professional qualification
