A leading Japanese advertising agency specialised in the sports industry is currently looking for and Operations Manager for sporting events.
Your role will be helping to plan and implement venue operations at sporting events globally. This requires a full operational delivery including (but not limited to) branding, VIK (Value in Kind), ambush marketing, sponsor signage, sponsor activations (locations, concepts and delivery), sponsor hospitality tours, broadcast relations, post event reporting, and more. This role also requires you to have constant lines of communication with the Global Governing Body, the Local Organising Committee and all Global Partners and Suppliers.

SALARY: up to £50K depending on experience




• Coordinating and working with International Federations
• Coordinating and working with Local Organising Committees
• Key account management for clients, including ensuring adherence to
• Regular review of branding and marketing materials
• Planning and preparing for future sporting events

• Review of all branding materials (such as perimeter boards, press conference backdrops, mix zone backdrops
• Review of all print materials (such as event programs, media guides, VIP guides)
• Ensure key sponsor rights are delivered
• Management of key sponsor activations (such as hospitality programs, tours)
• Assisting with the allocation and distribution of key sponsor ticketing requests
• Prevention of ambush marketing
• Monitoring the distribution of key sponsor VIK items

• Proven experience in managing and leading marketing activities and proven experience in being a team leader
• Experience working at sporting events preferred
• Experience managing VIP clients a bonus
• Fluent English with strong written and verbal skills
• Oral proficiency in other languages (French, Spanish) is a plus
• University Degree
• Good understanding and knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Power Point, Adobe Illustrator)
• Advance IT skills a bonus
