A global finance organisation is seeking a Japanese-speaking Sales & Marketing Assistant for the Business Development Division.
Responsibilities include client communications and reporting, maintenance and administrative tasks relating to our client database and other software, and collaboration with various client-side activities across the firm’s franchise within and outside of the UK
The role includes responsibility for:

• To support all members of Business Development and other group companies by assembling reports, making proposals, arranging meetings and telephone conferences to help fulfil clients’ requests and assisting in related services
• To prepare marking materials by formatting content and graphics and arranging printing including editing, proof-reading and disseminating client reports and other communication materials
• To maintain of user-side administration of our client database and other client-related applications
• To update marketing knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
• To ensure business operations being complied with the FCA requirements and other relevant regulations
• To handle all aspects of event management, coordination of various sales and marketing activities such as client events, compilation of RFPs, interfacing with third-party vendors
• To co-ordinate with other team members and other group members effectively to ensure ongoing best practice
• To champion the company values and works in accordance with the organisational behaviours

Required Skills:

• Reporting skills, information analysis skills
• Business level English is essential and Japanese language skills (reading, speaking and writing) are desirable
• Problem-solving skills with excellent ability to work well with a team – a relatively small team which entails back-up responsibilities and covering for other staff
• High attention to detail
• Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers
• Good understanding of Operations, proficiency in Microsoft Office with emphasis on PowerPoint and Excel
• Strong understanding of information technology
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Speed and the ability to meet tight deadlines

Desired Skills and Experiences:

• Experience or understanding of investment and financial industries
• Background in Marketing; Asset Management knowledge is a plus with interest in investment management. Must have some prior experience in a junior sales and marketing role in any context
• Client database management (CRM system) is highly desirable, in particular use of Salesforce
• Experience in website management
• A client-oriented attitude
• Flexible, adaptable and positive attitude
