The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and motivated salesperson (Sales experience is not required), able to learn new products quickly, and with the ability to build good relationships and develop business within the wholesale/distribution sector.
Passion for Japanese-food will be advantageous.

WORKING HOURS: 9:00-17:30 from Monday to Friday
SALARY: up to £25K ,depends on experience (negotiable), plus performance bonus (not guaranteed)

LOCATION: West London (Office-based)
CORE DUTIES:
• Utilise, review, and update the client database
• Provide support and reassurance to customers
• Analyse sales data
• Manage the stock in the warehouse
• Sales activities including cold calls
• Increase the company’s sales profits
• Provide strategies and estimates for the company
• Prepare and distribute information from the company to clients
• Respond to client communications or queries and resolve any client issues
• Network with business partners and/or distributors
• Support Japanese managers for business set up – finding office location, supporting administration matters (contracts accounting and legal matters etc)
• Attend trade shows in Europe and possibly get involved in overseas trading in Japan or USA (Business Trip)
IDEAL APPLICANT:
• Native level of fluency in English or Any European Language
• Understanding of Japanese culture and some Japanese skill will be advantageous
• B2B sales experience in the wholesale/foodservice food industry (not mandatory)
• A highly motivated self-starter
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong Excel & MS Office skills
• Driving licence (not mandatory)
