A Japanese trading company seeks a Part-time Administrator at their office in the City of London.
You will be responsible for all general office administration and services to support staff and visitors.
Understanding of Japanese culture and some Japanese skills will be advantageous.
Experience of working in a Japanese business environment is also desirable.

Please note this will be Temporary to Permanent role and you will receive an hourly rate based on the below salary range. Once you are switched to their Permanent staff, you will be eligible for a range of benefits such as private medical/dental insurance and medical check-ups.
TYPE: Temp to Perm, Part-time
WORKING HOURS: 9:00-17:00 (3 days per week, days to be mutually agreed in advance)
SALARY: £22-25K pro-rata, depending on experience (£13.2–15k for 3 days)
START: ASAP
LOCATION: London City

RESPONSIBILITY:
Administrative support
-Booking hotels, flights, taxis and arranging travel documents
-Organising office equipment, stationery and consumables
-Archiving and filing
-Record keeping such as weekly schedule, contact lists, visitors list, intranet
-Performing variety of additional office tasks such as copying and e-mail
-Checking staff expense claims
-IT application forms for new equipment and accounts
-Orientation/preparation for new staff
-Liaise with their General Affairs / HR / IT departments

Reception duties
-Answering telephone calls and greeting guests
-Arranging couriers and mail
-Sorting and distributing post
-Entering administrative invoices and expense claims into the ERP system
-Assisting Managing Director in general matters
-Any other tasks which may be required from time to time

PERSONAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
-Administrative experience is a must
-A good communicator (verbal and written)
-Excellent customer service
-Good numerical skills and excellent attention to detail
-Good IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
-Good time and task management
-Fluent English
-Experience of working in a Japanese business environment is highly advantageous
-Written and verbal communication in Japanese to business standard is highly advantageous
-Flexible can-do attitude
