A well-known Japanese transport company based at Heathrow seeks a Logistics Business Development to join their team. As a Logistics Business Development Rep you will be responsible for Logistics Business Development for the UK & EU region. Market focus for e-commerce but also forwarding and logistics.

Days: Monday – Friday
Hours: 09:00 – 17:30

Logistics Business Development Main Responsibilities:
• Manage assigned accounts within the UK
• New business development within the UK
• Weekly/Monthly sales forecasting and reporting
• Manage special project developments
• Evaluate market trends and gather competitive information
• Secure new business
• Achieve the HQ’s revenue and profitability quotas
• Prospect customers
• Training sales associates

Logistics Business Development Ideal Candidate:
• 3 years’ experience in sales or business development in the technology industry or 3 years’ experience in Ecommerce industry
• Experience in the Supply Chain industry
• Prior direct sales experience (Direct Sales industry experience)
• Previous experience in sales planning
• Excellent negotiation skills (Managing profitability)
• Advanced level for MS Excel and Power Point, with excellent Logistics Business Development presentation skills:
• Fluent or Native level English and business level communication skills in a second language
• Able to consistently exceed quota and key performance metrics
• Experience of living overseas
• Understanding of Japanese culture & speaking Japanese is a plus
