SALARY:
3,700,000 Japanese Yen (£28k equivalent) in first year

BENEFITS:
Housing allowance: 80% of monthly rent is paid, with an upper limit of 60,000 yen per month (£5,532 equivalent per year)*
*Please note housing cost is much lower than in the UK, average £700 for 1 bedroom flat per month in Yokohama.
Commuting allowance: actual expenses paid in units of 6 months, excluding express tickets.

■ 2 Positions
• Application Engineer in Mechanical, Technology Software and Electronic development
• Production engineering to develop systems to increase production efficiency

■ Job Description
Parts design (customization) to adapt continental products in accordance with customers’ vehicle development schedule (complete car manufacturers that represent Japan), calibration, actual vehicle running tests, bench tests, customer negotiations, such as in coordination with Germany and other global teams.

■ Essential Qualification and Skills
• Bachelor level degree or higher in Engineering
(Electrical & Electronics, IT, Software, Mechanical, Physics, Chemical or Mathematics major is required.)
• Conversation level in Japanese and fluent English is required
• Problem-solving ability
• Good communication skills
• Technically-oriented
• Spirit of challenge

・ 6 months’ temporary work assignment in each department, and participation in project/s

■Working hours
8 hours
※Superflex system: A system that allows employees to freely select working hours from 6:00AM to 10:00PM.
Many employees use the flex system, and work hours are flexibly adjusted, such as arriving the office at 10:00 and leaving the office at 17:30.

■Probation period
3 months

■Holiday
2 days a week (Saturdays and Sundays), annual holidays, year-end and New Year holidays,
