A global oil and energy company with worldwide operations now requires a confident lubricants sales person to join their City of London based European Auto Lubricants team in an exciting opportunity.


The successful candidate will have either;
• Proven UK/EU experience in sales and marketing of automotive lubricants and ideally also after-market oil products or technical automotive consumables into automotive manufacturers and key distributor partners
• A first class university degree from a top tier institution in automotive or chemical engineering

Salary will depend on which of the 2 scenarios you fit into, with the following as rough salary guidelines;
• Experienced: up to £45K
• Graduate: circa £30K


In either scenario, you will be a confident and charismatic self-starter with the commercial flair to proactively develop new business and seek out the potential of currently untapped business.

Possessing professional selling skills with a good grasp of technical issues you will also demonstrate effective time management and be able to influence and communicate successfully at all levels.
Regular business trips within the UK and Europe are required.


CORE DUTIES:
• Sales of branded lubricants to distributors and automotive OEMs across UK & EMEA
• Develop network of country distributors to expand the current lubricants business across Europe
• Penetrate into new business segments and markets to expand the business
• Develop innovative sales proposition to maintain brand positioning
