Sales Admin & Supply Chain Support – Food Products

A small international business working in food products is seeking an experiences sales administrator and supply chain support individual to join their team in Twickenham.
The company supplies dehydrated vegetables, fruit purees and concentrates, dehydrated fruits, IQF and other food products.

TYPE: Permanent, full time
LOCATION: Twickenham
SALARY: £20-25K, depending on experience
START: ASAP


CORE DUTIES
Order Processing
• Enter customer purchase orders
• Liaise with production, quality, logistics, shipping, importers, customers etc.
• Maintaining customer contracts / order files
• Complete order process and inventory management related documentation
• Send order confirmations to customers; order status, shipment information, arrival notices etc.
• Assist accounts dept. in payment collection
• Maintain pending orders status and advise the team leader in case of delays in production and shipment
Customer Service
• Servicing existing customers, answering queries
• Receive and handle inquiries and process those in consultation with team leader
• Follow up on quotes with existing customers and new prospective customers
• Establish / maintain link between Area Managers and customers
Inventory Control
• Inventory accounting
• Maintaining inventory levels
• Interactions with warehouses
• Tracking stock and producing reports
Others
• Answer incoming phones
• Other general office work
• Any other responsibility assigned from time to time


IDEAL APPLICANT
• 3+ years’ work experience in sales administration and/or supply chain support
• At least 1 years of UK work experience in an office environment
• Experience in food industry desirable
• Good computer skills (Microsoft Office), email etc.
• Past experience in customer service
• Willingness and ability to learn about products and willingness to take on new / additional responsibilities
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good communication skills
