A worldwide leading games developer are looking for an HR & Office Assistant to join their busy west London office.

The Role

Coordinating Recruitment, including placing adverts, liaising with recruitment agencies, communicating with candidates, scheduling interviews and providing feedback
Supporting with the on-boarding process
Carrying out reference requests & exit interviews as and when required
Supporting with contractual documentation requirements
Responsible for processing and filing of HR related documentation (both hardcopies and on HR software
Maintaining the HR cost report updated
Monitoring and updating the absence and attendance system, and reporting on status
Assisting with JSOX compliance and GDPR requirements
Assisting with ad hoc HR-related projects
Supporting the HR department with general administrational tasks
Reliably covering for other HR team members on any incoming queries as needed when away due to sickness or holiday

Additional duties

Support the HR department in compiling monthly benefits reports for payroll
Processing of benefit requests
Liaising with the Finance department and our benefit providers when employees opt-in, opt-out or amend benefit choices, and ensure any discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner.
Monitoring and coordinating Health & Safety requirements for the office

The Ideal Candidate

Must be able to maintain absolute confidentiality at all times especially regarding sensitive HR information
Ability to work across job levels and cultures

Willing to meet internal and external customer expectations.
Educated to degree level, ideally in a subject covering HR, sociology or organisational psychology modules, or similarly qualified by experience and ability
Previous experience in HR and/or Office Management an advantage
Good working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
A critical thinker, with demonstrable problem-solving skills
Knowledge and understanding of HR and its broad-ranging scope would be very beneficial
Able to work on multiple, simultaneous tasks and to work to tight deadlines
Detail orientated, and keen to ensure accuracy in work
Organised and passionate about delivering consistently high levels of service
Keen attention to detail and process
Ability to work with others across all levels and divisions of the organisation
Effectively elicits information through objective and active listening
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate clearly
