Logistics Administrator
A well established and prestigious trading organisation are looking for a logistics administrator to join their busy Pan-EU Mineral Resources department. Based at their London office and reporting to the department general manager you will carry out administrative work as required by the department. This includes (but is not limited to) documentation management, logistics arrangements, payments, and SAP entries
The Role
• Documentation (eg. logistics related, invoices, contracts)
• Logistics arrangements (eg. delivery to customers, shipment from suppliers)
• Arrange payments to counterparties (eg. suppliers, logistics vendors, customers)
• SAP data input for transactions
• Travel for physical inventory checks (2 times p.a. to Rotterdam, Antwerp, Bilbao, Trieste)
• Record, analyse, report and administer according to systems and requirements.
• Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally
• Coordinate shipments/deliveries/import & export custom clearance with suppliers/customers/logistics vendors etc
• Issue invoices to customers etc. and monitor payments
• Arrange payments to suppliers, vendors etc
• Communicate, liaise and negotiate internally and externally when needed

The Ideal Candidate
• Good standard of education
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Basic knowledge of international trade
• MS Office, particularly Outlook, Excel and Word
• Administration experience within an import/export trade business.
• Experience in communicating with external counterparties (suppliers, customers, logistic vendors, etc.) for import/export trade business.
• Experience working within a trading company as a sales/purchase administrator.
• Experience in using SAP
• Experience in commodity trades
