Impex Sales Administrator - Carbon Department


International trading company based in the city seeks an experienced impex administrator who will be responsible for providing administrational support to the Department General Manager and Manager.

To be considered for the role you should have Extensive knowledge of shipping, export procedures, logistics and accounting procedures as well as working knowledge of SAP.


Core Duties

• Responsible for the shipping and documentation of commodities (Carbon Fibre, Graphite Electrodes, Catode Blocks, Petroleum coke, Needle coke, Pitch coke and Uranium and any other projects

• This involves the issuance of all relevant documents on SAP system and the keeping of accurate shipping, accounting and stock records

• Liaising with the Chamber of Commerce for legalisation of documents / applications for possible export license if needed for Carbon Fibre business

• Applying for credit insurance, SCRs and credit lines for existing and new customers

• Applying for approval and arranging renewal of contracts for our consultants in Germany and Italy

Ideal candidate

• Extensive knowledge of shipping, export procedures, logistics and accounting procedures

• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP

• Good communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Flexible approach with ability to prioritise work load

• Considerable experience in a similar role involving the administration of import/export, logistics and accounts

• Experience in SAP
