A full service, data-driven, global marketing agency, rooted firmly in digital innovation is looking for a MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT to join their busy team in London.

Supporting the Senior Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the production of the management accounts for the review and completion by the Senior Financial Controller. These are management accounts that inform and support decision making for the whole company. Able to work well under pressure and use own initiative, you will be competent with Finance systems and thorough in your approach to all things Finance related.

Jobs to keep you busy:
• Preparation of the management accounts for review by the Senior Financial Controller
• Support the monthly reporting for company results / Forecasts/ cash flows/Annual HQ Management plan reports
• Ensure the month-end closing process runs smoothly
• Provide variance analysis and commentaries for HQ reports
• Supporting and deputising for the Financial Controller in their absence
• Ensure all Balance Sheet reconciliations are prepared monthly and are accurate
• Accruals/Prepayments/Provisions
• Daily bank reconciliations
• Posting invoices and journal entries
• Preparation of VAT Returns and reconciliations
• Supporting the audit process (Quarterly and yearly)
• Prepare Local Statutory Account in comply with FRS102
• Support to compliances of K-Sox review and preparation on request from HQ
• Maintain Fixed Asset Register
• Recommend improvements to process wherever appropriate
• Ad hoc duties aiding the finance team
• Ensure business partnering is championed at all times

• Proactive. Take the initiative to get things done
• Able to work competently with little supervision and under pressure to meet tight deadlines
• Strong IT skills, (MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint & Excel), in particular proficient in Excel
• Excellent communicator both verbal and written
• Work well under pressure with strong attention to detail
• Great team player, help out team mates whenever needed
• Highly organised with a logical approach to challenges
Ideally you’ll have these already:
• Experience in an agency-like culture
• Qualified/Part-qualified for either ACCA/ CIMA
• Team player, who is keen to learn and progress
• Experience working with senior level directors, and supporting more than one person
