WORKING HOURS: 9:00-17:00 from Monday to Friday, 35hours a week

SALARY: Up to £25K per annum


- General assistance to managers, such as car, hotel, restaurant and travel bookings
- Keeping a daily schedule and diary of managers’ movements/appointments
- Market research assistance – financial products, financial regulations
- Responding to Japanese head office queries (customer-related and market-related queries)
- Managing Japanese and UK corporate customers and financial institutions relationship assistance – handling customer queries, data preparation, data and record filing
- Answer incoming calls
- Paperwork and creating documents on finance
- Creating reporting data for HQ in Japan
- Any other general administrative duties as requested by managers and accounts controller
- Attend to visitors, serve tea, coffee and drinks

- Good general standard of education including mathematics and English
- Native level of English and business level of Japanese (JLPT N2 level)
- Ability to write accurate letters
- Happy and willing to support the office activities
- Diplomatic and polite manner
- Ability to work with Japanese colleagues for whom English is a second language
- Ability to fit in a small team and quiet environment
