Recruitment Consultant (Japanese Speaking)

We are a well-established niche sector recruitment company, and are currently looking for a Japanese-speaking consultant to join our Japanese Division where we mainly deal with Japanese recruitment within the UK and Europe.

As a sales office we set ourselves the challenge of achieving year on year sales growth, but the office atmosphere is friendly and supportive, with a strong focus on team collaboration and support. At all times we aim to offer a professional and polite service to both clients and candidates.

You will have excellent personal qualities – polite, professional in manner and appearance, and will enjoy the sales aspect of the role. This will include calling both established clients as well as working on business development. There is an administrative element to the duties which requires the ability to write persuasively and accurately both in Japanese and English.

We are open to applicants who have worked in other fields and who possibly now need to retrain and who have an interest in becoming a consultant. However the common theme is that your Japanese and English are of a high standard, as much of what we do is ensuring a good standard of written CVs (checking), profile writing and client correspondence. You should also be keen to settle long-term into a role where you will build up good client relationships, with the astuteness to understand their recruitment needs.

Our agency is small and will suit an individual with a good memory and who enjoys being busy as duties are varied and require good time management.



These include:

· Business development - contacting and visiting clients (Japanese and non-Japanese)

· Recruitment - handling vacancies, selecting and interviewing candidates, writing profiles

· Administration - related to the above



PERSONAL QUALITIES:

1. Commercial office experience: a sales or account management background would be advantageous

2. Ability to multi-task

3. Determined, flexible, resilient, patient

4. PC literate (Word, Excel & in-house database)

5. Japanese and English fluent both written and spoken
