E-comms Business Development Manager

A specialist in the marketing of Ethanol and Spirits requires an E comms Business Development Manager to join their busy team in north west London. This is an exciting role where you will create and implement sales & marketing campaigns using social media, Online sales platforms, our web sites online forums, trade fairs and data research tools to find new business opportunities. You will also act in a supporting role to the conventional sales team looking and developing parallel sales strategies with those within the sales team.

The Role

This is a sales role with a creation and making sales at its heart
Seek out and find customers using online – digital sphere as the keyway of finding new customers
Business development on a global scale with an emphasis on UK, EU, USA and India and SE Asian Countries
Create sales strategies in the Online digital sphere with measurable in KPI and results
Cover media channels (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn etc.) as channels to explore to develop sales
Work with Digital Manager to create content to post on company websites, regular news updates, any blog content on business web sites or publications
Identify new trends in digital sales and evaluate new technologies and channels to increase companies’ online profile to ensure we are at the front of the technology curve
Help manage any projects with external agencies, developers, designers and data analysts that we might work with in future to gain sales data or information on competitors
Set up any online sales platforms or digital platforms that could help increase sales
Preparing sales presentations

The Ideal Candidate

Degree in communications, sales and or marketing or digital marketing
18 months to 2+ years in a sales team with direct hands-on experience in digital sales
Managing multiple sales channels on behalf of an organization
While mainly desk bound an extrovert and enjoy ‘making a sale’ personality is needed
Time conscious, energetic and able to work with a lot independence from management
A strong creative ability to produce content from very little detail
Skills in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and all things for data research online domain
Ideally, experience working with other digital Marketers, Web / Design agencies and e-commerce systems
Understanding of analytics and conversion tracking
Understanding of marketing automation and CRM systems (e.g. Hubspot)
Understanding of email marketing tools, online sales campaigns and data analytics
Experience with creative / design software (Photoshop, In-Design, video editing etc.)
