A Japanese manufacturer is looking for a highly motivated, innovative and creative Commercial Manager who can strengthen their small but experienced team.
Native level of fluency in Dutch/Flemish/French as well as business level of Japanese is required for this role.

RESPONSIBILITY:
Account Management Skills
Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations
Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts
Proactively leads a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a one and three-year period
Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis
Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel
Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards

Business Development Management Skills
Elaborate business development plans, design and implement processes to support business growth, through customer and market definition
Facilitate business growth by working together with clients as well as business partners such as suppliers, subcontractors, partners, technology providers
Build and maintain high-level contacts with current and prospective customer and other business and project partners
Drive prospects through to contract award including identifying new customers and markets, developing approaches to the market, identifying prospects, proposal preparation

Communications Management Skills
Ensure that employees are aware of changes and projects within the company, driven by HQ in Japan
Distribute executive messages, prepare presentations and internal memos, and conduct meetings to share information
Represent the organization to stakeholders, interested parties, and the public
Liaison manager between company and HQ in Japan

IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Native level of fluency in French/Flemish/Dutch as well as business level of Japanese
More than 3 years of experience in corporate sales
Business Development Management Skills
Hold a bachelor's degree (or higher) in business engineering, business administration or equivalent
Demonstrating work experience within the automotive production sector or business-to-business sales environment, is an advantage
Team-oriented person with a proactive attitude
Knowledge of Office Productivity Software
Strong communicator and do you speak English fluently
This position requires extensive travel within the EU and occasionally to Japan
