TYPE: Permanent, full-time

LOCATION: Dusseldorf, Germany (Office-based role)


CORE DUTIES:

- Posting current business transactions on general ledgers and subledgers (accounts payable, general ledger and fixed assets accounting)
- Process payment transactions, cash, and bank bookings
- Perform the Intercompany reconciliations
- Support the VAT returns and Intrastat declaration
- Support on creating monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts in compliance
- Participation in the preparation of management analysis
- Liaising with the external accounting firm

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

- More than 1.5 years’ experience in Accounting
- Business level English
- German and Japanese languages would be advantageous
- Some understanding of Japanese business culture is a plus
- Good understanding and co-operation skills in a small office environment
