WORKING HOURS: 9:00-17:00 with one hour for lunch from Monday to Friday
SALARY: £60-70K depending on experience, plus good benefits

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Review and draft contracts and other legal risk related documents
Manage documentation and assist the execution of transactions from a legal perspective
Communicate with commercial teams and external clients
Liaise with and instruct external lawyers effectively
Handling legal dispute and contentious matters
Research legal issues and other cross border legal risk matters
Handling compliance matter (including, seminar and Export Control matter)

IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Minimum 5 years of legal experience in multinational company
Qualified lawyer (advantage)
Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
Strong team player
Cooperative, flexible and “Can do” attitude
Ability to work in a cross-cultural environment
Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to organise data/ information efficiently and retrieve it quickly
Good time and task management
Willingness to learn and improve
Proactive attitude to continuous learning and self-development
Liaison with relevant teams in Tokyo Head Quarters
