In this role you will be responsible for providing application and business analysis support across core ERP and supporting systems.
The ideal candidate should have SAP FI knowledge and helpdesk experience.

TYPE: Permanent, full-time
WORKING HOURS: 9:00-17:00 from Monday to Friday
SALARY: c.£40K depending on experience, plus good benefits
START: ASAP
LOCATION: Central London (Currently Hybrid working – this may change depending on the company’s decision.)
SYSTEMS ANALYST MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Supporting key SAP ECC modules (FI/SD/MM/BW) and SAP HANA Cloud (FI/SD/MM)
• Supporting other non-SAP module applications such as SAP Concur, Microsoft Dynamics, and PEGA
• Consulting with end users and helping to identify solutions to business requirements
• Conducting training for new and existing end users as and when required
• Identifying potential system enhancements
• Carrying out configuration changes in SAP
• Creating detailed system change requirement documents
• Adhering to stringent IT compliance rules and regulations
• Coordinating and Communicating release schedules with end users
• Supporting all phases of system change implementation projects to existing/new client sites
• Ensuring all support related administrative documentation is kept up to date
• Managing own workload and being able to identify when appropriate to escalate issues to management
• Assisting with regular application compliance reviews and system audits
• Documenting business process flows and internal processes and procedures
• Investigating appropriate changes to SAP and other application systems
• Undertaking occasional international travel to client sites as required
SYSTEMS ANALYST IDEAL CANDIDATE:
<Essential>
• 3-5 years SAP experience either from a consulting, helpdesk, or super user background
• Experience of a service provision role in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrable aptitude for analysing problems, ideally using formal processes
• Experience in working to strict deadlines, both individually and as part of a team
• Experience of documenting end user requirements
<Desirable>
• Experience of application support to SAP Concur, Microsoft Dynamics, and PEGA
• Project experience would be of benefit
• Experience of working in a consultative / helpdesk role
• Experience of business analysis
<Qualifications/Skills/Personal Qualities>
• Working knowledge of at least 2 of the above SAP modules and an understanding of the linkage to the FI module
• Understanding of the fundamental SAP R/3 customisation processes
• A very good grasp of standard accounting practice, ideally in the context of a multinational trading organisation
• First rate client facing skills
• Communication and stakeholder management skills
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills with ability to convey IT matters to all levels of the business and communicate clearly with team members
• Excellent analytical and reasoning skills
• Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Motivated and willing to learn in a diverse and dynamic working environment
• Team player
• Business level of fluency in English
