Position Summary
As an IT Consultant for the financial industry, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and improving trading-related systems. This role involves frequent communication with Japanese financial institutions, so strong bilingual skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and analyse IT-related issues for financial clients
• Define system requirements and conduct business analysis
• Support the design and implementation of trading systems
• Liaise and report to clients in both Japanese and English
• Assist in vendor management and team coordination
• Provide infrastructure or cloud-based proposals where applicable
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience working on IT projects for financial institutions
• Hands-on experience with trading system development or implementation
• Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English
• Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience as a project lead or PM assistant
• Previous U.S. work experience or experience in a multicultural team
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure or cloud environments
• Experience as a Python developer (including SQL proficiency)
