A Japanese manufacturing company is currently recruiting a Junior Account Manager to join its European office in Amsterdam.
Junior Account Manager will support business development and account management activities for the Spanish market. Working closely with sales and technical teams, you will help develop new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
The ideal candidate should have a strong commercial mindset, excellent communication skills, and native-level Spanish language ability to support customers across Spain.

Main Responsibilities:
• Develop new business opportunities and support market expansion activities in Spain
• Conduct market research and identify potential customers and business opportunities
• Maintain regular communication with existing customers and support account management activities
• Support quotations, pricing discussions, negotiations, and sales follow-up
• Coordinate with technical teams to provide suitable solutions based on customer requirements
• Maintain accurate customer information, sales pipelines, and forecasts using Salesforce
• Support sales meetings, customer visits, trade fairs, and business events when required
• Undertake occasional business trips to Spain to meet customers, develop business opportunities, and support market activities

Ideal Candidate:
• Native-level Spanish language skills with strong English communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field
• 0–5 years’ experience in sales, account management, customer support, or business development
• Strong interest in developing a career in international sales and business development
• Proactive, organised, and willing to learn in a technical sales environment
• Comfortable working with CRM systems and sales data
• Valid driving licence (Class B)
• Based in or willing to relocate to the Amsterdam area

Conditions:
• Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands
• Working Style: Hybrid working available after training period
• Salary: €35,000–€45,000 per annum depending on experience
• Job Type: Full-time, initially 6 months’ contract with potential for extension
• Working Hours: 08:00–17:00 (flexible), Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
• Start: ASAP
• Benefits: Performance bonus up to 4 months, commuting allowance, business travel allowance
