A global payment solutions company is currently recruiting a Customer Service Assistant to work in their Paris office.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality and courteous customer service to clients visiting from Japan and across Asia, focusing on face-to-face reception, reservation handling, and daily lounge operations.

The ideal candidate should have excellent customer service skills, strong cultural awareness, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

TYPE: CDD (15 months – potential extension)
WORKING HOURS: Three days per week (60% working hours), shift basis
SALARY: €24k (60% of €40,000) per annum
LOCATION: Paris 2, France (On-site)

Customer Service Assistant (Part-time / Fixed-term) Main Responsibilities:
● Provide face-to-face customer service in the Plaza Lounge, including reception, member assistance, locker support, and guidance regarding lounge facilities
● Perform opening and closing procedures, including KIOSK operations, beverage preparation and clean-up
● Handle reservations and customer enquiries via email, telephone, and in-person
● Monitor and replenish beverages and supplies; perform simple facility and equipment checks
● Assist with updating and maintaining merchant-related articles and information content on media websites, internal CMS, or blog-style pages
● Support social-media-related tasks, such as drafting Japanese-language posts, supporting social media communication (e.g. Instagram), and coordinating with relevant teams
● Support the creation and update in-lounge notices, information materials and communication items as required
● Provide multilingual support to cardmembers, with Japanese as the primary service language
● Cooperate with team members on shift arrangements to ensure smooth lounge operations
● Contribute to activities that support brand value, such as exploring new communication ideas and providing information-sharing support
● Perform other related tasks as assigned by management and to meet business needs

Customer Service Assistant (Part-time / Fixed-term) Ideal Candidate:
● Excellent customer service etiquette
● Strong cultural awareness, ability to communicate effectively with customers from Japan and across Asia.
● High level of accuracy and attention to detail
● Ability to learn and apply operational procedures quickly
● Proven reliability and professional attitude
● Fluent Japanese and French
