consumer type batteries, is currently recruiting a Financial Accountant to work in their office in Aschheim, near Munich.
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and managing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, performing general ledger accounting, monitoring accounts payable and receivable processes, supporting audits, assisting in budgeting and forecasting, collaborating with teams, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
The ideal candidate should have a degree in Accounting or Finance, at least 5 years of financial accounting experience, and proficiency with accounting software.
Understanding of Japanese culture and some Japanese skill would be beneficial.
TYPE: Full-time (37,5h/week) or Part-time (30h/week) ; permanent
WORKING HOURS: 9:00-17:00 from Monday to Friday, hybrid working
SALARY: Negotiable, depending on experience

Financial Accountant Main Responsibilities:
Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB, GAAP, IFRS, and group reporting standards
Perform general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and journal entries
Monitor and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to process improvement initiatives
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to management and stakeholders
Financial Accountant Ideal Candidate:
At least 5 years of relevant industry experience
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
Solid knowledge of HGB/GAAP
Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., DATEV, MultiCash or similar) and MS Excel
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and a proactive working style
Being a certified German accountant
IFRS knowledge
Communication in Japanese language
Business level fluency in both English and German
Understanding of Japanese culture and some Japanese skill is essential.
