A Japanese trading company is currently seeking a motivated Steel & Chemical Salesperson to join its Material Division in the Czech Republic.
The role will focus on the trading of steel, chemical and plastic products, covering procurement, sales, inventory management and business development across the EU market. You will communicate directly with suppliers and customers and support the development of new business opportunities.
The ideal candidate should be a native Czech speaker with at least B2-level English, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to taking on new challenges.

Main Responsibilities
• Handle trading operations for steel, chemical and plastic products
• Manage procurement from suppliers and sales to existing customers
• Oversee stock operations and inventory management
• Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers, mainly in the Czech Republic, Poland and Turkey
• Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments and manage order-related administration
• Prepare sales documents and communicate with internal and external stakeholders
• Travel for business meetings as required
Ideal Candidate
• Native-level Czech speaker
• English communication skills at minimum B2 level
• Experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook
• Experience in the automotive industry is advantageous but not mandatory
• Strong sense of ownership and willingness to take on new challenges
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Conditions

• Working Style: hybrid (1 day working from home per week)
