Working hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00 (Core hours: Mon–Thu: 09:00 – 16:00, Fri: 09:00 – 14:00, Total weekly working hours: 34.5 hours)
Salary: Around €60,000 per annum + performance-related bonus
Location: Düsseldorf, Germany (local client coverage within approx. 1.5 hours’ drive)

Sales Manager Key Responsibilities
• Manage and lead a small sales-related team
• Oversee day-to-day sales operations while ensuring effective coordination between sales, customer service, and related departments
• Conduct primarily field-based sales activities, with direct travel from home permitted
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and develop new business opportunities through referrals and internal networks (no cold calling)
• Handle negotiations and commercial discussions directly with German-speaking clients in German
• Collaborate flexibly with warehouses, operational teams, and other branches to ensure smooth service delivery
• Plan and conduct client visits mainly within the local area
• Undertake occasional overnight business trips (approximately 1–2 times per quarter)
• Support branch management by providing market insights, sales forecasts, and input into business strategy
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and contribute to continuous improvement of sales processes
Sales Manager Ideal Candidate
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a managerial or supervisory role within sales or a related function
• Business-level German, with the ability to negotiate and communicate confidently with German clients
• Japanese language skills are not required; however, a good understanding of Japanese corporate culture is essential
• Experience liaising with multiple departments and operational teams, ideally within logistics or a related industry
• Full, valid driving licence
• Proactive, flexible, and able to work independently in a field-based role
