The Outsourcing Manager is responsible for maintaining and improving the outsourcing framework, managing SLAs, and ensuring compliance with both internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Close collaboration with internal stakeholders in Amsterdam, London, and Tokyo as well as external suppliers, is also key.
The bank will consider Visa sponsorship for the ideal candidate.

TYPE: Full-time, initially 1 year contract (There is potential for extension)
WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hour working week
SALARY: up to €74k, DOE, including 13th month bonus and holiday allowance
START: ASAP
LOCATION: Amsterdam, The Netherlands (Hybrid working available after the training; minimum 60% of working days in a calendar month from the office)
Outsourcing Manager Responsibilities:
• Maintain and improve the framework and standards for monitoring and managing outsourced activities and processes
• Manage and review outsourcing agreements and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure compliance
• Monitor outsourced functions including KPI and KRI tracking, reporting to management and regulators where required
• Conduct investigations to ensure adequacy of controls and compliance procedures
• Coordinate new outsourcing requirements, service or product changes, and SLA amendments
• Work closely with the Operational Risk Manager to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines
• Organise and participate in regular committees regarding outsourcing activities
• Act as the single point of contact for stakeholders regarding escalated issues on outsourced banking operations
• Manage effective working relationships with suppliers and represent the bank’s interests in negotiations
• Support the procurement framework and due diligence of third-party vendors
• Coordinate Business Continuity Management (BCM) and related activities
• Support internal communication, CSR initiatives, and corporate culture activities
• Act as Risk Champion representing the department
Outsourcing Manager Ideal Candidate:
• At least 2-3 years of experience in outsourcing/vendor management within the financial sector (preferably banking)
• Hands-on experience in managing SLAs, monitoring service quality, and coordinating outsourced operations
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and experience in reporting to financial authorities
• Strong stakeholder management skills, able to coordinate across Amsterdam, London, and Tokyo offices
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Fluency in English is mandatory; additional European or Japanese language skills are an advantage
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
