A Japanese manufacturer based in the Netherlands is looking for a Coordinator to join its Recycling Design Division. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a new team supporting sustainable business operations. The role focuses on coordinating supplier communication, preparing documentation, consolidating analytical data and supporting payment processes based on metal content analysis. This is an office-based coordination position with no business travel and offers an excellent opportunity to join a growing function that is being brought in-house from external trading companies.
The ideal candidate will have customer-facing coordination experience together with strong administrative and communication skills.

Main Responsibilities
• Coordinate with recycling suppliers across Europe regarding electronic scrap transactions
• Maintain regular communication with customers and suppliers via email
• Consolidate analytical data relating to precious metal content
• Prepare documentation to support purchasing and payment processes
• Coordinate schedules and workflow between suppliers and internal departments
• Support process management and back-office administration within the division
• Assist with the transition of procurement operations from external trading companies to an in-house function
Ideal Candidate
• Previous experience in a back-office, coordination or operations support role
• Experience communicating with customers or suppliers in a business environment
• Business level English
• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
• Experience in purchasing, logistics, supply chain or process management would be advantageous
• Japanese and/or Dutch language skills would be beneficial
Conditions
• Location: Amsterdam, The Netherlands
• Working Style: hybrid (office attendance required with several days working from home available each week)
• Salary: €38,000-€48,000 per annum including holiday allowance, depending on experience. Please note that this role is not eligible for a bonus.
• Job Type: full-time, initially a 1-year contract (with the intention to move into a permanent contract in the future)
• Working Hours: 09:00-18:00 including a 1-hour lunch break
• Part-time: reduced hours may be considered for candidates available five days per week (e.g. 10:00-16:00)
• Start: ASAP
