A logistics company is currently recruiting a Japanese speaking Sales Assistant to work in their Amsterdam office.
You will be responsible for sales support for forwarding business within Europe and general administrative and support duties related to the HQ.
The ideal candidate should have strong sales support experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Understanding of Japanese culture and some Japanese skill is essential.

Sales Assistant Main Responsibilities:
Sales assistant duties (approximately 80%)
● Collecting and confirming information regarding RFQ from customers
● Request price quotes and obtain offers from branch partner companies in each country
● Organizing the obtained quotation contents and internal approval procedures
● Submission of quotation and follow-up to customers
● Review and approval support for quotation contents and GP ratio
● Input/update sales progress information to SFA
● Maintaining and responding to communication with major customers
● Follow-up until project completion through collaboration with branch in charge
● Troubleshooting support
● Participation in weekly meetings with related members
● Various administrative processes related to sales activities

Head office general affairs support duties (approximately 20%)
● Schedule adjustment and meeting setting support for HQ members
● Assistance in creating and filing internal documents and materials
● Confirmation and processing support for contracts, invoices, etc
● Responding to inquiries and requests for materials from each base
● General office support such as various expense processing and data entry
● Support for in-house events and business travel arrangements

Sales Assistant Ideal Candidate:
● At least 2 years of relevant industry experience
● Ability to coordinate with multiple departments
● Task management skills
● Business level Japanese and English skills
● PC skills (Microsoft office, SFA)
● Attention to detail
● Time management
● Flexible work approach
● Strong teamwork
● Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders
● Desire to grow and play an active role in sales or management
● Business level fluency in both English and Japanese
