A leading Japanese trading company is currently recruiting a Business Development Specialist to join its Italian subsidiary in Milan.
In this role, you will be responsible for acquiring new fashion and luxury brands while supporting ongoing business operations, contributing to both business expansion and stable portfolio management.

WORKING HOURS: 9:00-17:30 from Monday to Friday, incl.1h lunch break
SALARY: €100k depending on experience, including bonus

LOCATION: Milan, Italy

Business Development Specialist (Fashion) Main Responsibilities:
• Drive new business development by acquiring new fashion and luxury brand partnerships (approx. 70%)
• Support ongoing operations and assist with existing business activities (approx. 30%)
• Build and maintain strong relationships within the Italian fashion and luxury industry
• Leverage industry network to identify and secure new business opportunities
• Collaborate closely with the Managing Director and internal teams
• Gain understanding of existing business operations and contribute to process improvement

Business Development Specialist (Fashion) Ideal Candidate:
• 10 years of experience in the fashion or luxury industry
• Strong network within the Italian fashion/luxury market
• Proven ability to convert industry connections into commercial business opportunities
• Experience with major luxury groups (e.g. LVMH, Kering) is highly desirable
• Business-level Italian and English (Japanese not required)
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
